Our first job is to pay attention.
The second is to transcribe what we witness. And that’s how it becomes art.
Hi. I’m a Ukrainian-Canadian award-winning director & creative director who creates empathetic work with aesthetic sensitivity. At the age of eight, I had to grow up quickly when I immigrated to Canada with my family, settling in Scarborough. I often credit this experience to becoming an astute and compassionate creative.
I started out as a writer before becoming a CD/director. As a writer, CD, and director, I’ve been fortunate to work in advertising, tech, and entertainment, on projects for brands like Nike, Google, Meta, SickKids, Doordash, Genesis, Lionsgate, History Channel Canada, and more. My personal film work has screened in the US, Canada, France, and Iceland, at festivals, on streaming platforms, and in mid-air on flights.
As a creative, I can be the idea starter or the missing puzzle piece. I can plug in as a writer, creative director, or director. From Figma to live-action sets, pixel-pushing to picture lock, I can carry a vision through across multiple platforms.
I also enjoy speaking on panels and judging creative work; most recently, I was a judge for “Best Interactive” at the 2024 Canadian Screen Awards with the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.
I hold an O-1B Visa and spend my work/play time between Los Angeles and Toronto.
P.S. I smile a lot more than this bio photo would have you think.
